Well, it is clear to me that HP has given up, the real question is did it help Apple? I don't think it changed a thing for apple. I do believe that HP made a huge statement by doing this...but is it a good direction?

I believe Apple is just trying to test their influence with the EU and the strength of their patents. I do not believe the Galaxy Tab is in any way a clone of the iPad!

I think Microsoft killed Netscape because they changed the model from pay to free for the internet browser.
